Noni: the healing miracle fruit

Whatever your illness is, Noni can cure it!

Used by indigenous healers in Asia for 2000 to 3000 years, the Noni tree bears fruit 365 days a year. This exuberance carries a vitality that, once imbibed, encourages you, at the deepest level of depletion, to begin the journey of regeneration and revitalization.

Today, this fruit is extremely popular in Costa Rica, Tahiti, Hawaii, French Polynesia and Southeast Asia. People usually drink their juice mixed with some other fruits, but it is also used in many other ways, even as a hair mask!

Noni can both initiate and enhance feeling good via its ability to stimulate our bodies to produce serotonin which is known as the “mood molecule” because it modulates raw information and gives it emotional tone.

Natural medicine suggest to consume whole noni fruit or juice to relieve ADD/ADHD, addictions, allergies, arthritis, asthma, brain problems, burns, cancer, cardiovascular disease, chemical sensitivity, chronic fatigue, diabetes, digestive problems, endometriosis, fibromyalgia, gout, hypertension, immune deficiency, infection, inflammation, jet lag, multiple sclerosis, muscle and joint pain, polio, rheumatism, severed fingers, sinus, and in veterinary medicine.

The fruit stimulates the immune system by encouraging vitamin absorption and enzyme production and is even thought to decelerate the spread of cancer.

Noni is also known as “cheese fruit” or “vomit fruit” because the fruit ferment as it ripens, creating a strong smell and a bitter flavor most people find unpleasant. The secret is to mix the Noni juice with other fruits and honey to keep this “special flavor” down.

At the Nosara Retreat we encourage any type of alternative medicine that would make your body and soul heal and feel good. We recommend Noni at its fullest! Mix it up with some nice fruits and enjoy your renewed body!

Special thanks to Genna Marie and her article on Noni Fruit from the inflight magazine “Landings” from Nature Air, who inspired us to write this post.
